Typhur Sync Oven FAQ
Basic Usage Questions
Yes. However, the Sync Oven is a convection oven, so it cooks faster and more evenly.
Monitor your food the first few times and refer to the built-in Cooking Chart.
Some functions (Roast, Air Fry, Bake, etc.) preheat automatically.
To skip preheat, simply press the PREHEAT button.
Yes, preheating is recommended for the most even rise and the crispiest crust.
Most functions automatically show the recommended rack level on the display.
Rack 1: Larger foods, roasting, reheating
Rack 2: Air frying, baking, general cooking
Rack 3: Broiling and top browning
Do not overcrowd the basket
Shake or toss food halfway
Place the roasting pan under fatty foods to reduce smoke
Use the center of the rack
Adjust shade based on bread thickness
Dense breads (whole wheat, rye) need higher shade levels
Use the roasting pan on Rack 1 or 2 depending on food size
For meats, use the wireless probe for accurate doneness
Lightly cover with foil for long cooking times to prevent over-browning
No—you may use the roasting pan.
However, crispiness may vary compared to using the Air Fry Basket.
Use the built-in wireless probe.
The oven automatically stops cooking when the target temperature is reached (e.g., 165°F for poultry).
Slice foods thin and evenly
Use the Air Fry basket on Rack 2
Place the roasting pan beneath to catch drips
Most common reasons:
1. High-fat ingredients or grease left on accessories
2. Grease on the heating elements
3. High-fat foods placed too close to the heating element
Solutions:
Always use a roasting pan for greasy foods, placing it on the middle or bottom rack.
Run the Toast – Shade 7 cycle with no accessories to burn off residue.
Yes. Like most countertop ovens, the door, glass, metal frame, and nearby exterior surfaces may become hot during cooking, especially during preheating, high-temperature cooking, longer cook times, or back-to-back cooking cycles.
Always use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves when opening the oven, placing food inside, or removing food. Avoid touching the door, glass, metal surfaces, racks, trays, or accessories during and shortly after use. Thin pot holders may not provide enough protection when reaching into a preheated oven.
If the handle or any touch area feels unusually hot or unsafe to grip, stop using the oven, allow it to cool, and contact Typhur Support for assistance.
Probe Setup & Safety
Insert horizontally into the thickest part of the meat, ensuring the probe passes the Safety Notch and the sensors sit in the center.
Possible reasons:
• Low battery → Charge the probe and try again
• Metal objects covering the probe head
• Probe is too far from the oven
Keep the probe inside or near the oven during use.
Ensure the probe is inserted lengthwise into the thickest part of the meat and allow the food to rest 3–5 minutes after cooking.
It won't melt, but prolonged contact can cause internal damage.
Possible causes:
• Probe left inside the oven without food
• Probe tip pierced through the food
• Probe not inserted past the safety notch
