Basic Usage Questions
572 °F (299.9°C). The Typhur InstaProbe is applicable for a variety of cooking scenarios such as meat, candy-making, baking, deep frying etc.

Clean with alcohol or a food-safe anti-bacterial wipe after each use, to avoid cross contamination. It is recommended to rinse the Typhur InstaProbe with running water quickly and efficiently to clean the device.
DO NOT place the Typhur InstaProbe inside a dishwasher, handwash only.
DO NOT leave the Typhur InstaProbe in the oven. Typhur InstaProbe is an instant read thermometer for hand-held use. If exposed to sustained temperatures over 122℉ (50°C), the plastic material could potentially melt.

Remove the battery cover with a standard screwdriver. Slide 2 AAA batteries into the slot.
Yes. The embedded OLED screen displays clear readings under any lighting conditions.
Yes. Simply remove the battery cover with a standard screwdriver, then press the [°F/°C] button to select the temperature scale.

The inconsistency between Instaprobe and wireless thermometer may be due to a difference in temperature measurement points. The rate at which muscle tissue, bone and fat heats is different. Instaprobe and wireless thermometer which use a single-point of temperature measurement may be inserted into the fat or bone resulting in different temperature.
